Dobson, NC – September, 2012 When people within the community come together for a common goal, everyone benefits. Piedmont Telephone showed their appreciation for the hard work being performed by a local Habitat for Humanity crew by feeding them lunch last week. The Habitat for Humanity team is working to build three homes in Dobson.

“Habitat for Humanity provides a valuable service for our community. We wanted to show our appreciation and thank them for the difference these new homes will make in the lives of three Dobson families,” stated Melanie Senter, Marketing Manager Piedmont Telephone.

Habitat for Humanity brings together churches, community groups and others to provide decent, affordable housing. The organization has provided more than 2.5 million people in 3,000 communities worldwide with shelter. For more information on Greater Mount Airy Habitat for Humanity and a listing of items they need, visit http://www.mountairyhabitat.org/.
